Sees's Blockchain Chip, a hardware version of the blockchain, is designed for use in the IoT field. Data from sensors and other devices sent to the blockchain chip can be recorded in the blockchain, enabling more secure data recording. The seed blockchain system utilizing the blockchain chip consists of two major components.

①Blockchain Chip

  • ・A blockchain node miniaturized for easy installation in the vicinity of sensors and other devices.
  • ・Data sent from the blockchain chip is recorded on the Sees Blockchain in the cloud.
  • ・In the unlikely event that a Blockchain Chip is stolen or hacked, the chip itself is safe because no data is stored on it.

②Sees Blockchain Network

  • ・It is a group of servers with confirmed security reliability※1 and is a core part of the blockchain.
  • ・The edge servers in this Sees Blockchain network are lightweight in terms of operating load due to proprietary technology, so they can function with the size and capacity of a mini-server.
  • ・All data recorded in the Sees Blockchain is encrypted and stored separately in a distributed file system to achieve large-volume data handling and leakage prevention functions.

Sees Blockchain network is formed only by full nodes on servers whose reliability※1 has been verified.
The blockchain itself does not store data from sensors or other sources, so data cannot be stolen in the unlikely event of theft or hacking.
